Titanium is a key alloying element for aluminum alloys, which can effectively refine the grain structure of the alloy, improve its corrosion resistance and mechanical strength, and extend the service life of the final products. Our Titanium Tablet is particularly suitable for manufacturing high-performance aluminum alloy components in the aerospace, marine engineering and high-speed rail industries, where strict requirements for alloy quality and stability are imposed.
Melting and Homogenization: Fully melt the aluminum raw materials in the smelting furnace, and stir the molten aluminum continuously to achieve uniform temperature distribution in the furnace, laying a foundation for the uniform reaction of Titanium Tablet.
Optimal Temperature Maintenance: Keep the temperature of the molten aluminum above 720℃, which is the most suitable temperature range for the full melting and reaction of Titanium Tablet, ensuring the highest reaction efficiency and recovery rate.
Uniform Addition After Slag Removal: Remove the slag impurities on the surface of the molten aluminum first, then disperse the calculated amount of Titanium Tablet evenly into the melt. Avoid stacking the tablets to prevent local excessive titanium content and ensure the uniform distribution of titanium elements in the alloy.
Post-addition Treatment Process: Allow the melt to stand for 10 minutes after adding the tablets to facilitate the complete reaction of titanium elements, then stir thoroughly for 5 minutes to enhance mixing uniformity. Perform a 20-minute refining operation to remove gas and impurities in the melt, and conduct the final composition detection after another 5 minutes. Key Reminder: It is advisable to add Titanium Tablet prior to silicon and magnesium additives, so as to ensure that the tablets have sufficient time and temperature to melt and react completely.
