Chromium Tablet is specially used to adjust the chromium element content in the manufacture of high-quality aluminum alloys. Adding this product can effectively improve the corrosion resistance, wear resistance and high-temperature stability of aluminum alloys, making the aluminum alloy suitable for manufacturing high-performance parts in fields such as marine engineering, automotive engines and electronic equipment.
Preheat and Stir the Aluminum Liquid: First, wait for the aluminum ingot to be fully melted, then stir the aluminum liquid thoroughly to ensure that the temperature of the aluminum liquid is uniform throughout the furnace.
Control the Smelting Temperature: The adding temperature of the chromium tablet should be above 720℃. This temperature can ensure the rapid melting of the tablet and the full diffusion of chromium elements into the aluminum liquid.
Add Tablets After Dross Removal: After removing the surface slag of the aluminum liquid, disperse the required amount of chromium tablets into the aluminum liquid to avoid the agglomeration of the tablets on the surface of the aluminum liquid.
Strictly Follow the Post-Addition Process: After adding the tablets, let the aluminum liquid stand for 10 minutes, then fully stir for 5 minutes, conduct refining treatment for 20 minutes, and finally wait for 5 minutes before carrying out the composition analysis of the aluminum liquid. It is recommended to add chromium tablets before adding silicon and magnesium to ensure sufficient melting time and temperature.
